TSLPRB Police Constable & SI 2022 Exam Dates & Latest Updates: The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) will be conducting the Preliminary Written Test (PWT) for 6,61,196 candidates for the posts of PC (Civil) and/or equivalent, Transport Constables and Prohibition & Excise Constables on 28th August 2022. Candidates appearing for the test can download their TSLPRB Admit Card 2022 till 26th August 2022. Earlier, the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) successfully conducted the Preliminary Written Test (PWT) for the posts of Sub-Inspectors (SIs) on 7th August 2022.

TSLPRB is conducting a recruitment drive to fill up 17,291 Vacancies in various categories of which there are 15,644 Vacancies of SCT PC Civil and/or Equivalent Posts, 554 Vacancies of SCT SI Civil and/or Equivalent Posts, 383 Vacancies of SCT PC IT & CO / Mechanic / Driver, 33 Vacancies of SCT SI IT & CO / PTO / ASI FPB, 63 Vacancies of Transport Constable, 614 Vacancies of Prohibition & Excise Constable, and 225 Vacancies of Driver Operator in Fire Services Department.

The Preliminary Written Test of the recruitment process of 554 vacancies for SCT SI Civil and/or equivalent posts will be held on 7th August 2022 (Sunday) from 10 am to 1 pm in 503 Test Centers located in and around Hyderabad and 35 other Towns throughout the Telangana State, for 2,47,217 candidates.

Dates of conduct of Preliminary Written Tests released for Direct Recruitment for the posts of:

(i) 554 Vacancies of SCT SI Civil and / or equivalent

(ii) 15,644 Vacancies of SCT PC Civil and / or equivalent

(iii) 63 Vacancies of Transport Constables

(iv) 614 Vacancies of Prohibition & Excise Constables

It is expected that nearly 2,45,000 Candidates will be appearing for the SI-Level PWT on 7 th August and more than 6, 50,000 Candidates will take the PC-Level PWT on 21st August 2022.

As per the press note issued by the Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB), a total of 12,91,006 applications (for different types of posts) have been filed by 7,33,559 candidates. This is reported to be nearly 80 per cent more than the number received during the recruitment process of 2018 which was 7,19,840. Of these, approximately 2,76,311 applications which comprise 21 per cent of the total applications have been received from women candidates.

A total of 2,47,630 applications have been received for the Posts of SCT SI Civil and / or equivalent and 9,54,064 applications have been received for the Posts of SCT PC Civil and / or equivalent level (including Transport Constable and P&E Constable). Candidates in these streams will have a 3-tier selection process starting with Preliminary Written Test (PWT).

A total of 14,500 applications for the Post of SCT SI (IT & CO) and 3,533 applications for the Post of SCT SI PTO and 6,010 applications for the Post of SCT ASI FPB have been received. Similarly, 22,033 applications for the Post of SCT PC (IT & CO). A total of 27,032 and 11,028 (total 38,060) applications for the Posts of SCT PC Driver and Driver Operator (Fire Services) respectively and 5,228 applications for the Post of SCT PC Mechanic have been received. Candidates in these streams will have a 2-tier selection process starting with Physical Measurement / Physical Efficiency Test (PMT / PET).

Government gave an age relaxation of 3 + 2 years over and above the maximum age limit prescribed in the Recruitment Rules for this process of Telangana Police recruitment because of which nearly 1.4 Lakh Candidates are estimated to have been benefitted.

After downloading the Hall Tickets, Candidates shall take a printout of the same, preferably on A4 size paper on both sides (so that the Hall Ticket, as well as Important Instructions, are available on a single sheet of paper).

Though it is not mandatory to take the printout in color, a printout taken in color nevertheless provides better visibility when compared to a monochrome (black and white) printout.

Once the printout is taken, Candidates have to affix (with gum/adhesive – do not use staples/pins) their passport photograph (whose digital copy was earlier uploaded along with their Application Form) at the designated place provided in the left-bottom area of the first page of the Hall Ticket, without fail.

Hall Ticket without the passport photograph affixed as described above will not be accepted on the day of the Preliminary Written Test and Admission to Examination shall be denied to such Candidates who come to the Examination Centers without proper Hall Tickets.
